PHOTO SHOOT WITH HAMPSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (HCC) COUNTRYSIDE SERVICE at KEYHAVEN 16th SEPTEMBER 2009.

NFAFA was asked if we could provide some budding starlets for a photo shoot on the water’s edge at Keyhaven on a cold but sunny September afternoon. The photos are to be used to illustrate HCC’s Countryside Service publications for 2010.  We have seen some in use already.

Ken, Joan and Mike answered the call, more it has to be said for the equipment they use than their photogenic appeal!  Ken brought along his electric wheelchair, Joan her mobility scooter and Mike his legs.

We were met by Cath Hart, from the HCC Countryside Service and introduced to the photographer Peter Langdown,   There were other ‘models’ with links to the Countryside Service – one family with two small children and a dog – all very photogenic. Sara Wareham, a Ranger from Lepe Country Park, was wearing her new sweatshirt, with the new corporate logo on, especially for the occasion.

Coffee from plastic cups and biscuits helped to keep out the cold while we awaited our turn in the limelight.  A large, shiny yellow disk, which sometimes needed two people to hold to stop the wind whisking it away, came into its own as a supplement to the watery sun.

Many photos were taken of all of us, and a very enjoyable afternoon was had by all.  HCC kindly gave NFAFA a donation for funds, which was much appreciated.
