WAITROSE GIVES NFAFA A BOOST.
Waitrose in Lymington chose NFAFA as one of the three charities to benefit from its Green Disk Scheme in January 2010. At checkout, customers are given one or more green disks to place in a clear plastic box. The box is divided into three compartments, one for each good cause, and customers choose which one they want to support.
At the end of the month, Waitrose shares £1,000 between the three lucky organisations in proportion to the number of green disks they have in their section. NFAFA’s share was £255 - a great boost for our funds. Well done Ken for suggesting NFAFA to the store!!
