WALKS

2. Lymington Walk :- there is now a accessible walk from the bottom of Lower Pennington Lane along the sea wall to Lymington Yacht Haven which is accessible for those with power chair and mobility scooters. When entering the path through the gate way when you reach the bottom go left for Lymington this is quite a long walk and bumpy and rough in places but please note there are no WC's until you get to Lymington. I forgot to time this one but I think it takes an hour to get to Lymington.

If you turn right you can go along the wall to Keyhaven passing many Lagoons and beautiful birds, but this at the moment is very bump, rough and steep in one place where you go down on the foreshore and up again, also the gate at the other end needs someone to open it for you at the moment. This is a difficult route and it is advisable to take an able-bodied person with you I went in my power chair and it was wonderful, again no wc until you reach Keyhaven, but do remember you do have to come back. Two pictures below for you to see. This route takes about 1 hour(M.J.Lewis)
